Eveleen Abadir is a visual artist. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minya University, in 2021, she marries acrylic painting with non-conventional materials: press cuttings, magazines, newsprint.
The canvas becomes archive: the pigment covers, reveals and converses with the printed fragments. The figure of the horse runs through the work; still lifes summon familiar objects — bust-vase, carousel horses, scissors, unfolded newspapers.

The carousel — wooden horses in a circle, central mast, conical roof — runs through several paintings from the studio. Reconstituted here in volume, frame by frame.
